It is NOT the official website of Tears for Fears and we in no way represent Tears for Fears or any of it’s members.
Leaving comments will NOT put you in contact with the band nor will any other form of communication with us put you in contact with the band.
If you wish to communicate with Curt Smith we recommend communicating with him via Twitter and his twitter account shows on the right side of every page of this website.
Again we are in no way associated with the band Tears for Fears. We are an Unofficial fan site.
Does anybody (besides Roland) know what Spanish music piece was used for the “Raoul and the Kings of Spain” tour (before the band broke into its opening number, “Sorry”)?? I know it was over 15 years ago but I’m really good at lollygagging. I did ask Nick D’Virgilio at a 2001 Spock’s Beard show but he didn’t remember. Thank you!
By the way, what IS the official TFF website? Thank you again.

Can anyone help me track down the various synths or patches used for Pale Shelter? Did Ian Stanley or Roland use a Fairlight or Emulator? Wondering also if they were factory presets or lifted from somewhere. I guess no one will tell me, i’m just curious about sound design…

We wait for them anxious in Chile (30 september 21,30)

Hi guys.
We are really happy to have had TFF here in Lima, it was wonderful!.
My kids (7 and 6) are really sad cos they couldn’t see TFF.
They are fans of Roland and Curt.
We hope TFF come back soon!
Hi,
I’ve just gone to the Tears For Fears’ concert here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and it was amazing, you know, it’s always a dream when you go to a show of a band that you like and, after 30 years, they still mantain a technical perfection whether over instruments or vocals 99% of the time. A great great show. The only two things I’d like them to change are:
1 – Including “Laid so low (Tears roll down)” on the setlist. It’s a valuable hit that is missing;
2 – Stop Curt’s assassination of “Pale Shelter”. One of the most beautiful songs of the band, that’s the 1% of failure, some people in the front rows even asked Roland to help him singing.
But anyway this detail didn’t fade the luster of the whole live performance. I strongly recommend this show for everyone who’s still in doubt, it’s worth every little cent you spend on tickets, parking etc.
Fantastic show!

Hi everyone,
Just after that “Sowing the seeds of love” came out (1990), Virgin released a book called : “Tears For Fears – The Seeds of Love”,which contained an insight to the writingproces of the album. Does someone has a copy of this book or does anyone know a place where I could buy this book?
Thanks a lot!
Kind regards
Maarten (Holland)
Currently to our knowledge there is no official TFF website. Sorry.
